Please send me a message via WhatsApp, email or give me a call to let me know you are interested in working together.
I will then contact you for a complimentary consultation either in person (if local),via phone or video call where we can discuss your ideas for the shoot. This will allow me to find out about you and your animal(s), what type of images you would like me to create and where you would like the shoot to take place.
Once we have decided a date you will pay the session / booking fee: 100 and any additional costs e.g. additional travel, specialised equipment / services or studio hire if needed.
On the day we may walk around the location looking for the best background whilst discussing the finer details of positioning and the general plan for the shoot. If we are in a studio setting we will spend time letting the animal get accustomed to its surroundings whilst discussing the shoot process.
Once the shoot is complete, I will spend the next few days editing a gallery of images for you to choose from. We will then meet up in person or virtually via video call for your viewing and ordering session where you can choose your images and any products that you would like. I will bring product samples to show you during this session.
When a decision has been made you will pay the balance in full and on receipt of this I will send your images to print and also send you your files via a digital download link. Products take approximately 3 weeks to arrive and will then be delivered to you in person or sent directly to your home address depending on where you live.

Yes. I serve private clients looking to immortalise their beloved pets by creating portraits for them. I also work with many companies in the animal sector providing them with photographic solutions for their business.
If you are a commercial client and would like to learn more about this then please head to my services tab and click on the Commercial section.

This is totally up to you. If you have a favourite place to take your pet, I am happy to join you and do it there. Alternatively I can suggest other beautiful local locations such as Virginia Water, Swinley Forest, Black Park or Windsor Great Park.
If you own a horse I can come to your yard or we can find a beautiful location which allow horses. Windsor Great Park is also a great location for this.
Studio shoots will be carried out in Windsor unless we need a larger space for multiple animals and owners, in which case we can rent a larger local studio in Wraysbury village. I can also bring the studio to you particularly if your pet is ill, older or nervous.

I always monitor the weather on the days prior to the shoot and I can generally work with everything apart from rain. Soft cloud cover is actually perfect for photoshoots. If it’s harsh / strong sun then we can place the animal in to the shade to get the shots (this also keeps them cool on a hot day). If it is very overcast and raining we will postpone the shoot and re book for another day at no extra cost.

Don’t worry. I’m great with people and animals and always take a caring and patient approach to each shoot allowing the animal and owner time to feel comfortable. We will gently encourage the animal to do what we ask but in their own time ensuring that they aren’t stressed and enjoy the experience.
I have been doing this for many years now and have a variety of tricks up my sleeve in order to make sure we get great results and beautiful images.
Any questions or concerns you may have will be discussed prior to the shoot.

This is a very common issue but is no problem at all as I am able to carefully set up shots with the owner keeping the dog on the lead which will then be edited out of the image afterwards. I even have a special thin but strong show lead exactly for this purpose. This formula can even be used for action shots with you running next to the dog.

Please don’t worry as I have encountered this before and know how to work in this situation. Nervous and reactive dogs will have to be shot outside as a studio environment will be too stressful for them. We will travel to the venue separately and I will ask you to bring the dog over to me allowing them to say hi and sniff the camera if they feel comfortable to. We will then set up in the normal way with you in control of the dog on their lead and I will take the photos from a good distance using a telephoto (long) lens. This will allow your dog plenty of breathing space ensuring they stay relaxed. I will also allow for extra time to ensure that your dog remains comfortable and happy but we still get the shots we want.

This is no problem and I have a solution. You may have a pretty bridle or head collar which you would like your horse to wear during the shoot anyway. If so we are able to use the reins or a lead rope to keep them in control which can be edited out afterwards.
If you would like your horse to appear to have nothing on at all but still wish to keep it tethered for the shoot we can use a special photography halter which is thin but made from very strong paracord which is easily edited out of the picture afterwards.

Cats are generally photographed in the comfort of their own home anyway as they are way more relaxed. The set up will be discussed during our consultation but I will generally set up a small studio area in your house and once it’s ready and I’ve checked my settings we will lure the cat in with toys and treats. (I often find cats are intrigued when I start setting up and are in and out of my camera bag and checking out the equipment).
If your cat is allowed out I will also spend a bit of time with it in the garden to capture some nice outdoor images.

In busy periods it can take me up to a week to finish editing although I always aim to get them back to you as soon as possible. Once finished I will be in contact and book you in for a viewing and ordering session where you get to see and choose your images and order your products.

The short answer is yes. I have worked with all sorts of other animals from small fluffy rodents all the way through to reptiles, birds of prey and even sharks and crocodiles. I hold a dangerous animals handling certificate from The Royal Corporation of London but generally work closely with the handler for us to establish the best way to get the required shots.

Yes I can. With careful planning and patience I can generally get a good shot through the glass using flash lighting.
I can even get a portrait of your favourite Koi Carp by shooting in your pond with a full underwater set up!
